"I am an artist living and working in Cape Town, South Africa. I work mainly in oils and watercolours and tend to focus on three categories of "portraits". Portraits of people, ships and buildings. Each has their own character, and I try to capture this in my work.

I'm also a Naval Officer, so you may notice that a high proportion of my work is related to my naval career. Although the two lifestyles may seem very different, I have been able to balance them and draw benefits from the two extremes... in fact, I enjoy the challenge.
