My life is visual, but I am not very observant in the normal way, unless I am looking. When I do look it is acute and my hand is swift. I love dance and I love the human body in movement. I particularly enjoy capturing the movement of the nude female body in line and bringing that drawing to life with painterly flesh. My drawings of ballet, contemporary and exotic dance are all made during public performance mainly in pubs, clubs and theatres in London, and can be regarded as documentary drawing. They are authentic.
