Cartagena, born 1961, came to the United States in 1981 when he was 21 years old to pursue his dreams. He worked a variety of jobs before finally landing a job as an Artist. At the age of 30, after teaching himself how to use the airbrush and traditional brush techniques, he got a job as a commercial sign painter. In the past four years, Carlos has risen to the top of a very competitive field.
